Headteacher's Welcome
We are all growing, developing and learning; Achieving Success in a Caring Community.
‘A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering...seed fell on good soil.
We are proud to be a one-form entry Church of England school set in the beautiful countryside on the outskirts of Eton, offering school places from Nursery (including 30-hour funding) through to Year 4.
At Eton Wick, our school vision is central to all that we do: "Achieving Success in a Caring Community." Inspired by the parable of the sower, we believe in nurturing the good soil found within our pupils through a rich and inclusive educational experience.
Our commitment to inclusivity ensures that every pupil feels safe, acts responsibly, and aims high. We strive to provide equal access to a broad and balanced curriculum, embracing diversity while promoting equality and equity. Reasonable adjustments are made to eliminate barriers to learning, allowing all children to be fully engaged in every aspect of school life.
We instil a lifelong love of learning in our children, supported by Christian values that foster personal development and guide them towards becoming effective learners and good citizens. Our emphasis on a ‘Growth Mindset’ teaches pupils the importance of perseverance and resilience, encouraging them to embrace challenges and strive for success.
Our dedicated team of staff deliver creative, engaging lessons focused on quality, personalised learning within a safe and stimulating environment, extending both indoors and outdoors. We maintain close ties with Eton College, providing additional curricular enrichment opportunities throughout the year, including Latin and music.
The children at Eton Wick demonstrate enthusiasm for their learning and share their achievements during our weekly celebration assemblies, where parents and carers are invited.
Should you wish to learn more about our school or arrange a visit, please do not hesitate to contact us via email at office@etonwickschool.org.uk or call us on 01753 860096. I would be delighted to provide further information and show you around.
